Spielerando

Catch the world up after days away so it equals playing every day

The player comes back after a long sleep and the farm has either not changed at all or gained so much that raids and storms seem never to have happened. Here is how to replay the missed days in order so the result is the same as if the player had never left.

Why this works

Gains and losses interact with limits: a full store wastes what arrives, an empty one cannot lose what it lacks. Because the order of events matters, the only way to match real play is to replay each missed day in turn.

When not to use it

Skip it when the absence can be long or the world is huge, since replaying every day for every place costs real time. Then settle the result with a fast rule, accept a rough answer, or let the world pause while the player is gone.
