Players say hunger drains too fast, but I do not know how fast it really is

Complaints about hunger rarely come with numbers, and your AI will happily change the speed on a guess. This entry turns a record of the hunger bar into the real drain per second, ignores meals, and shows the stretches that were unusually fast or slow.

Why this works

The typical drain is the middle value of many short stretches, which a few meals, sprints or sleeps cannot pull away. Only with that number can you tell if the complaint is about the base speed or about one activity.

When not to use it

Do not use it when hunger is meant to drain in steps, such as one point per meal-time. Then count the steps instead of the rate.

Say this to your AI

Use the Spielerando entry "Players say hunger drains too fast, but I do not know how fast it really is" (read_entry survival-hunger-drain-from-log) in my game. Build it step by step, and show me how you checked that it works.
