Parties without a healer lose more, or do they only play harder fights?
Comparing win rates of parties with and without a role gives a big gap that is mostly something else: bigger groups bring more roles and win more. This entry shows how to compare like with like, so you know what a missing role really costs.
Why this works
Groups that differ in one way usually differ in others, and bigger groups both win more and hold more roles. Comparing only groups of the same size removes that mix-up, so what is left is closer to the price of the missing role.
When not to use it
Skip it in a game for solo players, or when you have too few group runs to fill each size. Then the cells are too thin to mean anything. Run a controlled test with testers, or simply ask them.
