After how many days can most players afford the big base upgrade?
Adding up the typical daily income to guess when a goal becomes affordable gives the wrong day, and players who never get there vanish from the average. This entry shows how to read the real day for a share of your players from their own histories.
Why this works
Different people are in the middle on different days, so adding up daily middles describes nobody. Walking each player's own history shows when they really get there, and those who never do count honestly as never.
When not to use it
Skip it when players can reach the goal by other routes, such as gifts, trades or a shortcut, or when the game is too young to show long histories. Then wait for more data before you set the price.
