Give companions a share of approval without losing small amounts
A choice pleases some companions fully and those resting in camp only a little. When the small share is rounded each time, camp members never change at all, or drift in one direction. Here is how to keep the totals honest over many choices.
Why this works
Small amounts add up, and throwing them away each time quietly decides the result for you. Keeping the leftover, and counting in whole hundredths so no fractions appear, makes many small reactions end up exactly as large as they should.
When not to use it
Skip it when scores move only in big, whole steps, or when characters in camp simply get nothing. Also skip it when players should see every point earned at once, since stored leftovers hide part of the change.
