Stop a broken save file from wrecking your city builder on load
A city that loads half-empty, with buildings floating outside the map or a treasury showing nothing at all, usually comes from one bad value in the save. Here is a checker that reads a save before the game trusts it and tells you exactly which entry is wrong.
Why this works
A save file comes from outside the game, from a disk or a browser, so nothing promises it is still what the game once wrote. Checking everything before use turns a mysterious broken city into a plain list of what is wrong, and that list is the bug report.
When not to use it
Skip it for a throwaway prototype whose saves you delete after every change, or a game with no save at all. A checker also only finds what you taught it, so if the game changes its save layout often, convert old saves first and check afterwards.

Say this to your AI
Use the Spielerando entry "Stop a broken save file from wrecking your city builder on load" (read_entry city-save-file-validator) in my game. Build it step by step, and show me how you checked that it works.Or skip this and connect the MCP: your AI then finds all of this by itself.Connect the MCP
