The rain started and never stopped, or the sun never came back

Weather that gets stuck ruins a survival game quietly, and you only notice after a long session. This entry reads the weather changes of a run, measures how long each weather lasted, and flags every stretch that is longer than it was meant to be.

Why this works

Each weather has an intended range of lengths. Comparing real lengths with the range finds both a stuck state and one that flickers too fast, which feel like different problems but come from the same log.

When not to use it

If weather is chosen by the story and not at random, check the story script instead; a long storm may be on purpose.
