Things go wrong only on the left or above the starting point of my map
Houses appear one block off, the ground has a visible seam, or items spawn in the wrong area, but only in half of the world. This entry hands your AI a small test that lists exactly which positions are miscalculated.
Why this works
The usual shortcuts for dividing and remainders behave differently below zero. A test that tries every position around each area border finds the broken spots without guessing.
When not to use it
If your world cannot go below zero, such as a map that starts in a corner and only grows right and down, this test is not needed.
