A building says it needs a resource that is not in my game, probably a typo

A misspelled name in a data file does not crash anything, it just makes a building impossible to afford. This entry gives your AI a check for every reference that points nowhere, with a careful guess at what was meant and no guess when unsure.

Why this works

A typo is usually one or two letters away from a real name, while a reference to something never defined is far from all of them. A distance limit that grows with the word length keeps the guesses useful and stops the wild ones.

When not to use it

Skip the suggestion step if names are long codes where one letter changes the meaning. A wrong guess applied automatically would be worse than the error.

Say this to your AI

Use the Spielerando entry "A building says it needs a resource that is not in my game, probably a typo" (read_entry strategy-building-needs-something-that-does-not-exist) in my game. Build it step by step, and show me how you checked that it works.
