When the connection drops, my game retries so fast that it makes things worse
A leaderboard or save request fails, the game tries again at once, again and again, and drains the battery while thousands of phones do the same to your server. This entry spaces the retries sensibly, spreads them out, and stops retrying what can never work.
Why this works
Waiting longer after each failure gives a struggling server room to recover, and a random share of the wait keeps all phones from coming back in the same second.
When not to use it
Skip retries for actions the player must confirm again anyway, such as a purchase; ask instead of repeating it silently.

Say this to your AI
Use the Spielerando entry "When the connection drops, my game retries so fast that it makes things worse" (read_entry retry-after-failed-request-hammers-server) in my game. Build it step by step, and show me how you checked that it works.Or skip this and connect the MCP: your AI then finds all of this by itself.Connect the MCP
