Let several players poison one enemy with a stack limit and a clear killer
When three players apply damage over time to the same enemy, the stack grows without limit and nobody knows who gets the kill when the poison does the last bit. This entry shows a limit per player and a rule for the killer that always gives the same answer.
Why this works
Fairness among several players needs a rule that gives the same answer on every machine. Limiting each caster's doses, so none can crowd out the others, and applying them in a fixed order, makes it clear who landed the final damage.
When not to use it
Skip it when only one player ever poisons the target, or when credit for the kill should be shared among everyone who helped. Use a share of the damage done instead of naming a single killer.
