Pictures and sounds load on my computer but are missing once published

On your own machine the file name hardly matters, but on a website a capital letter, a space or a stray mark can make a picture vanish. Here is a list check for the files your game asks for against the files you really ship, including the ones nobody uses.

Why this works

Your computer forgives what a web server will not, such as a capital letter in a name. Comparing what the game asks for with what you really ship, after reading names the way a browser does, finds the three kinds of trouble before a player does.

When not to use it

Skip it when the game packs everything into one file, or when the platform you publish on checks and renames files for you. Then names cannot drift apart. It also cannot see names built while the game runs, so list those yourself.

Say this to your AI

Use the Spielerando entry "Pictures and sounds load on my computer but are missing once published" (read_entry image-works-on-my-computer-but-not-when-published) in my game. Build it step by step, and show me how you checked that it works.
