The German version of my menu does not fit in the buttons
Translated words are often much longer than the English ones, and short labels grow the most. Here is a quick check your AI can run on every translation so that no button or title is cut off, including the names players type in, and what allowance to give each length.
Why this works
Translation changes length, and short labels change most because a word cannot be shortened as freely as a sentence. A limit per label, taken from the original, lets a check do the looking for you on every screen at once.
When not to use it
Skip it when buttons grow to fit their words, or when you test each language by eye on a real device and have few screens. Also skip it for languages written in a different style, where length is not the measure of width.
