Send coins flying from a chest to the purse so the total is always right

A shower of coins looks rewarding, but each coin must carry a share of the reward, a huge reward must not spawn thousands of sprites, and the numbers must add up to the last coin. Here is how to plan the coins, their timing and their curved paths.

Why this works

Coins in the air are decoration, but the amount is a promise. Planning the pieces first so they add up exactly, and counting each when it lands, means the show can be fast or slow and the player is never short-changed.

When not to use it

Skip it when rewards come in dozens per second, like a clicker game, since the flying coins pile up into noise. Show one small number rising, or a burst every few seconds, instead of each coin.
