Find class or ability unlock rules that wait for each other forever
An advanced class needs a skill, the skill needs another class, and that class needs the first. Nobody can ever unlock them, and testing by hand rarely finds it. Here is the check that finds the circle, names the members, and catches rules pointing at things that do not exist.
Why this works
Rules that wait for each other can never start, and a person testing by hand will rarely walk the whole circle. Treating the rules as a map of who needs whom turns a hidden trap into something a check can list before any player meets it.
When not to use it
Skip it when the unlock rules are few and plain enough to read at a glance, or when a circle is intended, as in a puzzle where two things must be found together. Then check by eye.
