Spielerando

Count "craft three things today" fairly around midnight, travel and offline jobs

A daily quest looks like the simplest thing: count crafts, give a reward. Then a player crafts at five to midnight, collects at five past, flies to another time zone, or opens the game with yesterday's progress still shown. This entry decides which day each craft belongs to and keeps the counter honest.

Why this works

A day belongs to the person playing, so the quest follows their own clock and counts a job on the day they see and collect it. Resetting at the moment of use, not on a clock that may not be running, means the screen never shows yesterday's success.

When not to use it

A shared daily goal for all players, such as a world event or a leaderboard day, needs one fixed day for everyone. Use the server's day there, and tell players when it ends, instead of each person's local midnight.
