The fixed camera flickers between two views when the player stands on the border

A corridor with a hand-placed camera for each part looks great until someone lingers at the line between two parts and the view flips back and forth. Here is how to decide which camera is active so that it settles.

Why this works

A switch with no memory flips on the slightest wobble. Giving the current view a little extra room to stay, so that taking over needs a clearer step than giving up, makes the choice settle and stay put.

When not to use it

Not for scenes where the cut is wanted exactly at the line, such as a door or a loading gate that hides the change, and not for levels with tiny zones that are barely wider than the margin. There, switch on a trigger the player walks through.
