Keep crafting at a workbench when a knockback pushes you one step away

Crafting only works near the bench, and an enemy's blow shoves the player just outside the line. The bar flickers on and off or the job is lost. This entry lets the player start close but stay a little farther away, and pauses instead of cancelling.

Why this works

A line drawn at one distance flickers when the player stands on it. Easy to start but hard to lose is how people expect a workspace to behave: you step toward it on purpose, but a shove should not undo your work. Waiting before giving up covers the rest.

When not to use it

Do not widen the range when crafting must be tied to a spot on purpose, such as a ritual circle or a machine that must be tended. There, keep the edge hard and leaving should stop the work at once.
