My game runs fine at first and then slows down after ten minutes

Memory readings go up and down all the time, so a plain look at the curve is misleading. This helper reads them the way a careful person would, looks only at the low points between clean-ups, and tells your AI whether memory really grows and how fast.

Why this works

Memory rises as the game works and drops when it cleans up, so peaks and averages move with play. The lowest point in each time window is what stays after cleaning, and a rising floor is the sign of a leak.

When not to use it

A game that loads new levels legitimately uses more memory as you go. Compare readings taken at the same point of play, such as the start of a level, instead of a continuous run.

Say this to your AI

Use the Spielerando entry "My game runs fine at first and then slows down after ten minutes" (read_entry work-act-memory-grows-while-playing) in my game. Build it step by step, and show me how you checked that it works.
