Decide who delivers a line when its character is dead or away
Companion banter written for a healer fails the moment the healer died in chapter two. Here is how to give every line a chain of stand-ins, and how to find the lines that nobody in some party could ever say before a player does.
Why this works
In a story where people can die, leave or never join, a line written for one person is a promise that may be broken. Naming stand-ins ahead of time, and marking which lines the scene cannot do without, turns a surprise at play time into a list you read while writing.
When not to use it
Skip it when the party is fixed and nobody can ever be missing, as in a story with one set cast. Then every line always has its speaker. It matters most where the player chooses who comes along.

Say this to your AI
Use the Spielerando entry "Decide who delivers a line when its character is dead or away" (read_entry who-speaks-when-the-owner-is-gone) in my game. Build it step by step, and show me how you checked that it works.Or skip this and connect the MCP: your AI then finds all of this by itself.Connect the MCP
