Find the choices after which an ending is lost for good

Some choices close doors that cannot be reopened, and a player who loves a particular ending deserves a warning before the choice, not after. Here is how to list every choice that cuts off endings, and which endings it cuts off.

Why this works

A choice is a door, and what matters is which endings are still behind it. Working out the endings reachable from each scene shows exactly which doors lose something, so the warning appears only where it is true.

When not to use it

Skip it when surprise is the point, such as a story where the player should learn what a choice cost only afterwards. Or when saving is free and endless; warnings then cry wolf. Let the player simply try again.
