Which text speed should be the default after watching five testers?
Most people never open the options, so the setting they ended with is not always the one they like. This entry tells apart testers who chose, who accepted and who never looked, and gives a default you can defend, plus a warning when the data is too thin.
Why this works
Silence is not agreement. Someone who never opened the options said nothing about speed, and most of them still sit on whatever you picked. Listening only to people who looked, and saying so when they are few, avoids proving your own default right.
When not to use it
When few testers open the menu, any suggestion is a guess. Don't pick a new default from it. Let each new player choose at the start, with a few sample texts, and take the common choice from that.
