Which choices are agonising and which ones have an obvious answer?

A choice that everybody answers the same way, in a second, is not a choice. A choice that takes forever might be a great dilemma or just badly worded. This entry tells them apart and removes the time people spent simply reading the options.

Why this works

Thinking time and agreement tell different things. If nearly everyone picks the same option, there was never a real choice, however long they took. Taking the reading time off first shows how long they truly weighed, so only an even split with long thought is a dilemma.

When not to use it

A lopsided choice can be right when it is a test of character or an obvious moral call you want most to make. And with few testers the split means little. Don't rewrite it just for the number.
