Spielerando

After a few hours of play the trees and herds are gone for good

Regrowth looked generous in the first hour, but heavy players empty the land and it never recovers. This entry lets your AI calculate how much can be taken per hour without the stock ever collapsing, and when a given pace will empty it.

Why this works

Regrowth is fastest when about half the stock remains and tiny when the stock is low, so there is a highest steady harvest and a point of no return. Knowing both turns a feeling into a limit.

When not to use it

If resources come back on a fixed timer per node, with no dependence on how many are left, simulate that timer instead; this growth rule does not apply.
