I asked my AI to tweak one unit and it changed many numbers in the balance table

A balance table is easy to damage with a helpful edit. This entry gives your AI a table comparer that sets what you asked for apart from everything else that moved, shows by how many percent, and also catches units and stats that appeared or vanished.

Why this works

A change you did not ask for is a risk even when it looks sensible, because balance numbers depend on each other. Listing each moved cell, with its percent, lets you accept the one asked for and send back the rest.

When not to use it

Skip it when you ask for a sweeping retune on purpose. Then compare the new table to your targets, such as time to kill, instead of listing every cell.

Say this to your AI

Use the Spielerando entry "I asked my AI to tweak one unit and it changed many numbers in the balance table" (read_entry strategy-ai-changed-eighty-balance-numbers) in my game. Build it step by step, and show me how you checked that it works.
