Which answers in a countdown decision are picked only in the last seconds?
When a crisis gives you a few seconds, a lot of people just grab something. An option that is mostly chosen at the very end may be confusing rather than popular. This entry shows how to tell hurried picks from considered ones, and what to ignore.
Why this works
People who know what they want act early; those who wait for the end are unsure or confused. So an option that gets picked mostly at the last moment is probably unclear, easy to miss, or a safe fallback, rather than a favorite.
When not to use it
Do not read late picks as confusion when the game wants tension, for instance a long wait for a dramatic choice, or when the limit differs by event. Then compare only within one event, and ask players how the timer felt.
