Find the one story line where many players stop dead, a sign of a stuck game
Normal quits spread out over a scene. When most of them sit on one single line, something at that line is broken: a button that does not appear, a sound that never ends, a choice that cannot be clicked. This entry shows how to find such a line from the log without reading every scene.
Why this works
Ordinary quitting spreads out; quits piling up on one line after a long stay mean players waited for something that never came. Both signs together point at a bug, neither does alone.
When not to use it
Wrong with only a few quits, or when the line is the natural end of a chapter. A new version can also shift line numbers. Play that scene by hand and see where it hangs.
