Players replay a cleared level: do they love it or chase a better score?
A replay after a win can mean the level is a joy, or that the score left them hungry, or just a stray tap on the button under the winning screen. This entry shows how to split these apart so replay counts say something about the level.
Why this works
A replay can mean joy, hunger for a better score, or a slip of the finger, and each says something different about the level. Telling them apart by what the player had already earned and how long they waited gives replay counts a meaning.
When not to use it
Do not read it as a verdict on a game without scores or goals to chase, or for a level people replay because it is the only way to continue. There, ask players directly which level they would play again.
