Let a quiz quest be retried without repeating answered questions or hiding the failed ones
After a failed try the same questions come back in the same order, or the player gets only questions already answered right and wins by memory. Here is a draw that serves new questions first, then the missed ones, and a pass mark that rounds correctly.
Why this works
A retry is only worth taking if it asks something the player has not yet been handed. Serving what is new first, then what was missed, tests knowledge instead of memory of a list, and a limit worked out in whole numbers means the card and the result agree.
When not to use it
Skip it when the quiz is meant to drill the same material, such as learning words or rules by heart. There repeating the missed ones until they stick is the goal, so bring them back soon and often rather than last.
