Fit a scene with three speaking parts to two players or five

A scene written for three voices has to play with whoever is present. Here is how to share the parts out when there are too few players, when there are too many, and how to keep the same person from always getting the long speech.

Why this works

A scene is a fixed amount of speaking to be shared, however many people are present. Giving the heaviest part to whoever carries the least keeps the load level, and looking at earlier scenes stops one person from always holding the long speech.

When not to use it

Skip it when a part belongs to one character for the whole story and must keep its voice, such as the hero or the villain. Rotating it would break the character. Fix those parts, and share only the minor ones.
