The lobby countdown starts while someone new is still joining

Everyone clicks ready, the countdown begins, then a friend walks in or someone backs out, and the match starts with the wrong group or with a single lonely player. Here is how to decide when the countdown may run and when it must start over.

Why this works

A countdown is a promise that this group, as it stands, is ready. The moment the group or anyone's answer changes, the promise is void, so the countdown should only exist while it is true and always begin again in full.

When not to use it

Skip it for a game that fills its places by itself and starts at a fixed hour, or where friends enter one by one and nobody should be able to stop the start. Use a plain start button for the host, or a fixed schedule.

Say this to your AI

Use the Spielerando entry "The lobby countdown starts while someone new is still joining" (read_entry lobby-ready-countdown-resets) in my game. Build it step by step, and show me how you checked that it works.

Or skip this and connect the MCP: your AI then finds all of this by itself.Connect the MCP
