Spot idle-game players who have stalled, judged by their own rhythm and not a fixed time

A pause that is normal for one player is a warning for another, so one fixed limit marks the wrong people. This entry shows how to compare each player with their own pace and count at which step the stuck ones are waiting.

Why this works

Fast and slow players differ in pace, so the same silence means different things for each. Judging a pause against that person's own usual rhythm tells a real stall from ordinary slowness, and counting where stalls cluster points at the stuck place in the game.

When not to use it

It cannot say anything about a player with very few purchases, or about someone who changed habits because life got busy. A long silence may be a lost interest rather than a stall. Treat the flag as a hint and look at the place itself.
