Lightning and strobe scares can flash too often for some players
A scary scene stacks a few quick bright flashes, and for some people that is not just unpleasant but harmful. This entry finds the stretches of your timeline that flash too densely and spreads the flashes out without losing the scare.
Why this works
Rapid flashing is a health risk for some people, and it comes from every source at once, not just one. Counting all flashes over any sliding stretch of time, then only ever delaying them, lowers the rate without cutting the scare.
When not to use it
Not a medical clearance, and no substitute for an option to turn flashes off. If your game has no sudden bright effects at all, there is nothing to check, and a calm, dimmer cue is the safer design anyway.
