Build a game where you only steer, your hero fires itself and crowds of enemies close in
In a steer-only survival game the player moves while the hero attacks on its own, picks up drops and chooses upgrades. The choices that matter are who gets hit, how pickups are drawn in, and offering upgrade cards that are never the same twice. Here is the loop.
Why this works
With the aiming taken away, the player's only skill is where to stand. Choices at each level, drawn without repeats, replace the missing action with meaningful decisions, while a pull on nearby gems keeps the moving pleasant.
When not to use it
Skip it if aiming, dodging by skill or a story are the point. Auto-fire makes every fight alike; add manual weapons, or leave the genre when the player should feel every shot.
