Spielerando

The game stutters for a moment during a scare, when exactly and for how long

Players say it hiccups at the worst moment, and your AI needs facts, not a feeling. This entry reads a list of frame times and reports each freeze with its start, length and worst delay, judged against how smooth the game was just before.

Why this works

Slow is relative to what the game normally does. Judging each moment against the moments just before it, and ignoring tiny jumps no player can feel, finds the real freezes and tells them apart from a game that is simply slow all the time.

When not to use it

It is the wrong tool when the whole game is sluggish on a weak device, because nothing stands out against the rest. Then the job is to make everything lighter, not to hunt single moments. It also needs measurements taken while the freeze happens.

Say this to your AI

Use the Spielerando entry "The game stutters for a moment during a scare, when exactly and for how long" (read_entry find-the-freeze-in-the-chase-scene) in my game. Build it step by step, and show me how you checked that it works.

Or skip this and connect the MCP: your AI then finds all of this by itself.Connect the MCP
