Spielerando

After my AI reworked the story, a friend says an ending can no longer be reached

A rework can quietly cut the only road to one of your endings, and nobody notices until a player writes in. This entry compares the old and new story map, and lists endings lost or gained, dead ends created and choices that now lead elsewhere.

Why this works

Whether an ending still exists in the files is not the question; whether any road still leads to it is. Following every road from the start in the old and the new story and comparing what can be reached shows what the rework quietly cut off.

When not to use it

It only knows roads that appear as plain choices. If an ending depends on hidden points, items or luck, the map cannot tell whether a player can really earn it. Playtest those conditions by hand as well.

Say this to your AI

Use the Spielerando entry "After my AI reworked the story, a friend says an ending can no longer be reached" (read_entry did-the-update-remove-an-ending) in my game. Build it step by step, and show me how you checked that it works.
