The same match plays out differently the second time and I need to know when
If a replay does not end like the original, something random or order-dependent crept in. This entry gives your AI a comparer for two recordings that finds the stretch where they part ways, so it looks at a few ticks, not the whole match.
Why this works
A fingerprint of the whole game state, saved every few ticks, turns a vague feeling of drift into a window. Once the window is small, the cause is almost always one change in that window.
When not to use it
Skip it if the game is meant to differ, for example when the player's real-time input is not recorded. Record the inputs first, otherwise every replay will differ.

Say this to your AI
Use the Spielerando entry "The same match plays out differently the second time and I need to know when" (read_entry strategy-two-runs-first-different-tick) in my game. Build it step by step, and show me how you checked that it works.Or skip this and connect the MCP: your AI then finds all of this by itself.Connect the MCP
