Choose who appears in the finale when more allies survived than fit
Every ally the player saved should stand beside the hero in the last scene, but the scene only has room for a few, and some come in pairs that must not be split. Here is how your AI picks the cast fairly, fills the gaps without leaving seats empty, and names those who are mentioned instead.
Why this works
A finale feels fair when the seats go by a rule the player could guess: those the story cannot do without first, then the most valued. A character who does not fit should not stop the line, because someone smaller may still fit behind them.
When not to use it
Skip it when the player picked the cast by hand, for example by choosing a party: then show their choice, not a ranking. If the must-haves alone overflow the stage, no rule helps; make the scene bigger or cut a must-have.
