Spielerando

Testers keep finding the same endings: how likely is a new one next time?

After many sessions you know which endings were seen, but not whether more are lurking out of reach. This entry estimates the chance that the next tester sees something nobody has seen before, and lists the endings that still lack a single witness.

Why this works

If many endings were found by only one person, you are still in the phase where each new tester discovers something. When every ending has been found several times, a surprise becomes unlikely. How often you see single finds tells you how much is left.

When not to use it

Do not trust it for endings behind a rare condition that random testers will never meet. Those need your own list of intended endings and a deliberate test of each. It is also too shaky with only a handful of testers.
