Let a disguise hold up differently against sharp and dull eyes

A disguise that works or fails at a single moment is boring, and one that fades with no logic is unfair. Here is a slow build of suspicion, different for each watcher, that starts with stares, ends in an alarm, and does not forget just because the guard looked away.

Why this works

Suspicion should build up over time, not flip on a single glance. Sharp eyes, a close look and a poor disguise all speed it up, and recognition that sticks once reached stops a guard from calming down in the middle of a chase.

When not to use it

Wrong for a pure stealth puzzle where the player needs a clear yes or no, such as seen in the light or not. A simple vision cone with instant alarm is easier to read, and a slow meter would feel mushy there.
