Which lines of dialogue did testers click away without reading?

Plot hints hidden in text nobody reads are wasted. This entry tells you which lines were skimmed by most testers, and how to avoid blaming a line for a tester who simply went to make coffee or for short lines that cannot be judged at all.

Why this works

Time on screen is the honest trace of reading, because nobody can take in a long line instantly. Judging a line across several testers, and setting aside the ones who walked away, separates a text that is skipped from one person's impatience.

When not to use it

Fast clicking is fine for lines players already know or that repeat on purpose, and short exclamations can never be judged. Where the line holds a clue, don't lengthen it. Make it a short, visible moment.
