Let teammates speed up each other's abilities with a cap, and fix the running timer

Several support effects that shorten waiting times add up quickly to abilities that are ready all the time. This entry shows how to combine the effects, where to stop, and what to do with a timer that is already running when an effect starts or ends.

Why this works

Each bonus works on what is still left, so two small cuts never add up to a whole. A floor keeps a spell from being always ready. And a clock already running holds a share of the wait, so that share, not the raw time, must be kept when the speed changes.

When not to use it

Skip it when abilities are meant to be spammed, or when waiting times are so short that no one would notice a cut. Then use a plain fixed time and spend your effort on how the ability feels instead.
