Stop critical hits from feeling cursed during a long unlucky streak

A fourth of attacks should crit, yet some players go a dozen swings with nothing and others get three in a row. A naive fix makes crits far more common than the number you advertise. This entry keeps the real rate honest and ends the dry spells.

Why this works

People judge luck by the longest dry spell they remember, not by the average. A chance that grows after every miss cuts the worst droughts while keeping the promised overall rate, if you start lower than you advertise.

When not to use it

Do not use it where players can try again cheaply or watch the pattern, such as a free reroll, or in games built on real risk where a streak is part of the drama. Plain chance is more honest there.
