Fade between weather types, even when the weather changes again halfway

Clear to rain is easy; clear to rain to snow within a minute often leaves the world too dark, too bright or with a pop. Here is a way to blend any number of weather types so the mix always adds up and every change continues from where it is.

Why this works

If every kind of weather gets a share and the shares always add up to the whole, any change in mid-fade just shifts shares, so nothing flashes or goes missing. Letting all of them move at the same pace keeps the total right without any repair.

When not to use it

Don't use it for weather that must switch on at once and fully, such as lightning, a scripted storm at a story beat, or a cave with its own air. Those want a hard cut or a separate effect on top of the blend.
