How much of a chapter do the players spend far away from each other?
A story scene that needs the whole team is wasted if everyone is wandering in a different corner. This entry shows how to turn regular position snapshots into the share of time a group is together, how long the longest stretch apart lasts, and who counts as apart in a group of three.
Why this works
A shared scene needs everyone in view of it. The widest gap inside the group decides whether the scene still works for all, because the person at the far end can be lost even if the others stand close together.
When not to use it
It is the wrong tool when splitting up is the design, as in a heist with separate jobs, or when the map has walls that make straight distance lie. There, measure whether each part had its audience.
