Check that no level gate asks for more stars than the levels before it can give
Locking later levels behind a star count is common, and it is easy to ask for more stars than exist, leaving the player stuck with no way forward. Even a possible number can be cruel when it needs perfect play. This entry checks every gate and warns about both.
Why this works
A locked door is fair only if the player can really earn the key before it. What they can ever hold at a door is bounded by what the levels before it offer, so adding that up shows at once whether the door can open, and how much skill it asks.
When not to use it
Skip it when levels can be replayed for stars at any time, or when players choose their own order, such as an open map. Then the sum before a gate means little. Let the stars come from anywhere, and tune by watching real players instead.
