How do I notice players who are stuck because of a bug and keep loading the same save?

A player who loads the same save again and again without getting anywhere is probably trapped, and they will not tell you. This entry shows the pattern in the log that points at it.

Why this works

A careful player loads and then moves on; a trapped player loads and nothing changes. The difference is progress between loads, so asking whether anything advanced separates a bug from a hard fight.

When not to use it

Wrong when repeating is part of the game, such as a boss fight with a checkpoint, and with too few players to see a pattern. Add a stuck button the player can press, so they tell you themselves.
