A fight in my game never ends because both sides keep healing
A tester reports a battle that went on for ten minutes with nobody losing. Your AI can play the two sides' numbers forward and tell you whether the fight must end, how many rounds it takes, or that it repeats forever, which then points to the numbers to change.
Why this works
A fight is a short list of numbers that update each round, so the same numbers appearing twice at the same point in the round means they will appear forever. That proves a stalemate without playing a million rounds.
When not to use it
If chance decides hits, heals or misses, this exact replay does not apply; use many simulated fights and look at the longest ones instead.
