Spielerando

A player respawns or teleports and their body glides across the whole map

Smoothing between two positions is wrong when the player did not travel between them. After a respawn or a portal, other screens show a ghostly slide through everything. The tempting fix, a distance limit, breaks something else. Here is the reliable one.

Why this works

Whether a player travelled or was moved is not something the pictures can show, so the one who knows should say it. A plain mark from the server separates a real move from a jump, and no distance guess is needed, which would be wrong in both directions.

When not to use it

Skip it in a game where nobody is ever moved suddenly, or where a server does not run the rules. If only one machine decides, a short sliding fade or a quick flash at both ends can cover the jump instead.

Say this to your AI

Use the Spielerando entry "A player respawns or teleports and their body glides across the whole map" (read_entry respawned-player-glides-across-the-map) in my game. Build it step by step, and show me how you checked that it works.

Or skip this and connect the MCP: your AI then finds all of this by itself.Connect the MCP
