Remove a fighter who dies mid-round without skipping anyone's turn

A poison tick or a counterattack kills someone in the middle of a round, and suddenly a teammate loses their turn or acts twice. The bug appears only in some fights. Here is how to remove a fighter and still have the right person next.

Why this works

A list with a marker breaks when something before the marker is deleted: everything slides over, but the marker stays put. Moving the marker back by the same step keeps it on the same fighter, so nobody is skipped or played twice.

When not to use it

Skip it when fallen fighters stay in the list and are only marked as down, which you want if they can be revived in the same fight. Then skipping them when their turn comes is simpler than removing them.
